Picking up the was fairly easy, he just had to go up to a large, pale yellow flower, and wait five seconds for it to collect automatically. It was about twixe the size of his palm, and had two layers of petals: large ones which hung clearly out to the side, and smaller, nearly-white ones bending upwards over them. The small petals almost looked bleached. The description read, 'A precious flower, it can be used to create , which enhances healing spells.' As he made his way back to Kruxol, he saw a small…

The sub-class trainer waited in a nondescript, empty street in North-West Kruxol, hidden behind the . He was wearing a large, white robe that spread across the street, with a golden cross embroidered across the chest. "Greetings. I am Fjord, a Cleric who has kept armies healed through two large, gruelling wars. Are you interested in joining the order of Clerics? We are emissaries of the gods, with great powers to heal and strengthen our allies. I can set you on the path of a Cleric, or do you want…

As Cael looked for the sub-class trainer, he heard some commotion from the North of Kruxol. Walking over, he could see Dr1fter emerging from the Northern trees, covered in leaves and dirt from what looked like a long journey. Vladislav was already waiting, having received advanced notice. Presumably, Dr1fter was returning from wherever he had triggered the world event before. The choice of destination made sense, since the area around Kruxol would be less likely to contain many high-level opponents.…

Danemy led the group around the winding stone path, until they came to what looked like a dead end. There was a large rock wall blocking the path. However, he scratched away some dust from the wall to reveal a lever. As he pulled this, a hole formed in the floor. "Alright, the Minor Dungeon is just in there. There's also a mine, but I think it has some level 60 ghosts in there, not sure if it's safe yet." "Yeesh, this place is a touch claustrophobic," KurtCobainsDog said, easing slowly into the…

The next room of the dungeon was small and narrow, more of a hallway than a room. Its dull grey and white walls were shadowy, with no light source except an oculus-like hole in the roof which let faint light through. As soon as Cael took two steps inside, a few entered through this hole, noticing the intruder. These undead creatures had claw-like hands and feet which they used to fasten themselves to the walls, and their mouth contained fangs that gaped threateningly as they looked towards him. They…

After switching characters, Cael made his way to the Western streets of Kruxol. The streets were crowded, but, above the usual buzz of players socialising and gossiping, there was a staccato of occasional, frenzied outbursts as people tried to find out if anyone they knew had died during the recent event. As he neared the Western edge, he heard loud calls like fishmongers' from small groups of players clustered on the border. A few were even following passers-by around to ask for their help, typically…

After the event, Crucis was teleported back into the cloud-like lobby. It was noticeably less crowded than earlier, although a few players were still appearing over time. Most had gathered into small Guild-based circles, and were tiredly congratulating each other. A few had been badly injured, and were occasionally screaming or moaning from the pain, even though their visible injuries had healed automatically after the event. His steps in the lobby had a sense of weightlessness, as it descended slowly…

hopped over a rock. He and had been separated from their vice-leader Awdimir during a large-scale fight, and were wandering East because they had heard it was safer. "Everything's so quiet!" Nickli whined from behind him, kicking the rock with his foot. "Where's all the action?" "This place is totally a wasteland, but at least it's safe," Monsan replied. "Safe "You high on adrenaline or something? We were divided from the other guys, we didn't have a choice." Nickli patted his friend on the back.…

Walking deeper into the valley, they saw the silhouettes of two large, minotaur-like monsters towering over the end. The creatures grew taller than the mountains themselves, and had twisted horns growing over their shadowy heads. A few players were fighting near the end of the valley, and soon one group broke off and fled. They reached too close to the monsters, and soon there was a loud rumble through the valley as a series of massive hands slammed down on the ground to crush the players. The monsters'…

Reaching the cave, they heard a loud clash from inside. Looking through the head-high entrance, Crucis saw that members of were fighting among themselves. A glowing, ghostly blue radiated from behind them like sapphire, and seemed to draw out the silhouette of a human-shaped statue. Did it have anything to do with why they were fighting? One member was getting the upper hand, his sword flying from side to side elegantly as he carved up his Guildmates. He was level 60. Crucis and Danemy approached him…
