A streak of black and blue lights blasted out of the revolvers. Both guns bucked hard enough that they'd were almost ripped out of Cole's hands. The recoil from both shots was almost too powerful for Cole to handle. The shot from blue obsidian was a shot born from power, it smashed into the chest of the tree lamia, flinging it's body backwards and into the air as it's chest was blasted into pieces with a massive hole left behind it. Then from the center of the hole, black crystals spread out,…

After going through the entrance Cole was face to face with rows upon rows of gnarled trees. Normally he wasn't sure the orchard was supposed to start this close to the entrances but the trees seemed to have their roots stretched forth from one tree to the next. Almost as if the tree behind had given birth to the tree ahead, and they were slowly creeping forwards until they were out of the valley proper. It was creepy as fuck as the gnarled trucks of the trees had an effigy of screaming faces, Cole…

Close to noon of that same day, Cole and Morgan rolled into the settlement of Nukia. The name was a bit weird, but that was mainly because the settlement had been created by a goblin. It was shocking to him, but apparently not all Goblins were wild and Savage, and the founder of Nukia had been a farmer. This was information Cole had gotten after he had gone to the Tavern for a drink and a little bit of information. The founder of Nukia had been a goblin named Titus Boris, and the settlement was founded…

Perhaps it was a result of Cole's class or his playstyle. Or just something else entirely but Morgan was completely silent in his approach, Cole had not heard him moving or coming. Just when he thought he would have no other choice but to get sent for respawn, the Mechanoid Direwolf was upon the bull in a flash. Cole didn't waste time, as the bull and Direwolf crashed into rows upon rows of green corn, Cole turned to other cows and stretched forth his arm to touch the closest to him. It wasn't…

Cole jumped to the side when the bull rushed at him, with all the intent in the world to gore him, and it's rush was not basic in the least as black haze giving off significant heat coated it's entire body. There was a draft of wind from the rush that threw him backwards and right into the path of another cow. Cole was lucky, he escaped getting bored by the horns, but he was still hit hard enough that his entire body was flung into the air. He twisted himself in the air and landed on his feet, his…

The next morning met Cole well. He had logged after changing his class and then he had a shower, looked through the forums for more information that he might have missed, checked his bank account to see he was now a millionaire and still had money trickling in by the second. He gave his mother a late night call, just to check up on her, and had to go see his brother's kids because they have been having nightmares recently and couldn't sleep. He spent two hours with them watching return of Brother Bear,…

Cole ended up with 5 whole choices for his class, and out of all of them, only two of them were basic classes that you'll be sure to see in any RPG. And the classes themselves had differing grades, just like the races, however unlike Races and stats, Classes did not rank up. So if all you were offered was a bronze rank class, then that was what you were going to remain with. The reason for that is because no one is ever offered a class that doesn't suit them, so even if it was a little on the low side…

It took a bit longer but the Aspirant's body vanished, but rather than the normal pixelated system effect, it just looked as if his body was swallowed into the ground. Unfortunately the locals did not get something like that as their bodies remained, and that would be proof and a testament to what had just happened here. Cole scoffed, it was weird that the low level aspirant gave more exp than the iron rank deputy Dawson that he had killed first. But in the end even in a world where the power…

Morgan picked his way up the hill with way much ease than a horse would have found. The incline was roughly a 150 meters, and it ended in a steep drop off, that most would think twice before climbing. Cole dropped down from Morgan's back and pulled back the bolt on the Rifle's body. Then he took placed his eyes in the sight, just in time to see a fireball heading for his face. Cole vanished from sight, rolling to the side as the fireball exploded off the side of Morgan's body, causing a bit of damage…

The station was built in the same manner as every other building he has been in, it was larger on the inside that it looked outside. Deputy Dawson pointed him in the direction of a massive bulletin board that had dozens of posters pasted onto it. The act of picking a bounty wasn't so convoluted or stressful all Cole had to do was pick a bounty and it would be registered as a quest. All bounties could be submitted to any police station or mayor's office in any town or settlement to get the required…
