Although I made a clear food for protection deal with the Spriggan, I realized just in time that the village, Demme having their own luck of food and security is not good business on my part. The people of Demme need a leash to be kept on them so they know to stay in line and under my rule. That leash just so happens to be food. So, while I still had the spirit, I added something to the bill, "But I'll let you know when and in what quantities to keep the land arable and fresh." Though I'm speaking to…

The vines twist, turn and churn all around me. The Minotaur held up in the air, pierced thtrough so unexpectedly finally begins to struggle. It wiggles in the grip of the vines and quite frankly I can't begin to tell what plan it has to free itself from such impalement. The vines find its wiggling annoying and bothersome however, and decide to toss the Minotaur away like trash out the door. Whereas I'm seated on the bare floor, petrified by all that's happened in mere moments. The grass underneath my…

It takes him a bit to get settled on the couch opposite me, I feel awkward all through for some reason. A part of me totally expects him to open his mouth and proclaim me a murderer or something for wanting to kill him then. I'm not sure why but I'm very anxious about this. Still, it's good to see him moving. He lets out a sigh and thanks the caretaker for her help. She nods and whispers something, he nods and she retreats to the back. Then he directs his soft, kind smile towards me, "So, I hear you're…

It's terribly late in the night and terribly cold as well. Shivers run through my vulnerable, exposed skin, I look on to Hastra, dressed appropriately given the occasion and weather. Whereas I'd simply poured some water on my swollen face and eyes, slide into my slippers and rushed out with the guards by my side. Completely forgetting to change out of my night gown. As a result, I've let myself be an inconvenience to one of the guards who followed to secure me. The poor man is now left in these freezing…

The Minotaur begins to shrink, or more accurately, shed. The black mass of its body starts melting away, sliding off of it in layer after layer of flesh, flesh that once belonged to whole people. As this happens the beast rages, the glow in its eye dims and its powerful roar still deafening. The process doesn't strip it all of its mass however, in fact, some of it begins to rise back over it, setting back in place as it fights against what I know is Lotar's influence. "Heh." I chuckle, tiredly…

The beast, or creature before me stood at near fifteen feet and possibly even higher. The beast stood on hooves, like those of a bull, in fact, exactly like those of a bull. It's body however was nothing like its black, hairy muscular legs, its body was that of a man. Its entire torso all the way up to its neck is thick with muscle, heaving deep breath and pushing out visible puffs of air. Its arms were also that of a man, long with a large, veiny hand at the end. The arms attached to a shoulder that…

Dark Step. A spell I've been meaning to use but never really got the chance. A spell that requires there be at least a single undead within range and switches your position with that undead. Essentially teleportation but just with extra steps. I groan out in horrible pain as my body drops like a bag onto the hard grassy floor, a thing I'm sure should be soft. I've just switched places with my dear, dear newly created self-sustaining undead, Panda. The sounds of skittering and scampering quickly let…

Is this what it's like fighting me? The sheer number of these things! I look up the stairs and lo and behold there are still more and more bodies filing out. Just how many of these creatures is the Daemon going to summon, and more importantly, is it going to leave any corpses for me to raise? I'd say they're several times worse than my own undead. At least my undead bleed and can be subject to Necrotic energies...think. But these guys don't feel a think. By now, since their appearance they've been…

Soon after I'm awakened, the crowd of thousands are dispersed with vague orders to keep praying to the prayer. To keep praying to Lotar. There are several questions from them, yelling, muttering, crying and demanding. A lot of demands to know what's going to change about the food situation and what they can do about it, and questions regarding the sudden deposal of the Benefactor. Of course, no one gets any answers as the crowd and their pleas are quickly beaten back by Juri and his militia with constant…

A cold air bristles past me and I peer open the eyes I hadn't realized I'd closed. Sure enough, I'm exactly where I intended to be. Lotar's Realm. This time the Wolf stands before me in its genderless form, it's tall, several feet taller than I. Larger, wider and over all just bigger than the average human and perhaps even the odd ones. Its arms are crossed and its face tells me all I need to know about what's going through its mind right now. I always had trouble reading the Wolf when it was…a…
