The others looked at Eisen with rather confused expressions, while the old man himself simply took deep breaths while trying to supress his urge to scream out in pain, because this hurt him an incredible amount. It was a smooth, quick cut, so it probably wasn’t as bad as it could have been, but it was still very, very bad. For now, the old man just drank a health potion and had the wound close up and have his health recover to the top again. The finger didn’t grow back, but it would do that once…

The Ego-Item scratched the back of its head with a light sigh and then turned toward the other one behind it, the one with the six arms and disproportionate body. He placed his palm onto its forehead for a moment, before it rolled its eyes into the back of its head and dropped over backward with a heavy thud. "That thing was a real good-for-nothing. It couldn’t even make one item properly." The Ego-Item grumbled and then looked around again. "So? I heard you’re here cause you wanna talk?" It…

The group slightly slowed down as they continued through the hallway, following the sound of smithing that they could hear echo through this castle’s basement. It didn’t take long until they reached the place that they assumed to be the boss room, standing in front of a small, wooden door placed into the brick wall at the end of the hallway. Eisen slowly pulled on the handle and opened the door up, before seeing the dark workshop right behind it. It was a rather cluttered space, but incredibly…

Soon, all three of the Ego-Wall snakes were taken over and have been given the form of Lamias again, albeit in quite varying sizes. But nonetheless, they would be able to not only do some damage but also hold the ego-castle down. At this point, it was more than just clear that they had more than enough manpower to do so. The castle really wouldn’t be able to attack them anymore, Eisen was sure of that. The old man looked at the giant structure in front of him and turned around toward his group,…

The group stood there, just looking at the ego-castle and the three ego-walls, slithering around the area. This might become a bit more bothersome than Eisen expected it to be. The only good thing was that the only one of the ego-walls that would be able to be a direct, actual threat to them when it came to being attacked, was the smallest of the three. The other two weren’t even completely in the area, the ends of their bodies still reached out of town. The smallest of them, however, was completely…

Benjamin looked into the mirror as he recalled his actions from that day. He wasn’t sure when it was, just that it was a very long time ago. He could remember what it felt like to create that soul and that egg, and the purpose for which he created it. Just like Benjamin assumed, back then, he was trying to create an ego-item by first creating a soul that already had knowledge of anything that it needed to have. Different monsters, materials, and items. Anything, really. With that, it would obviously be…

By the time the group made their way closer toward the ego-castle and were ready to get to bed for tonight, they had taken over four more ego-mansions. With all five of them, they would surely be able to hold down the ego-castle for a while, or so Eisen hoped. The old man wasn’t entirely sure if he should bet on it, though. He couldn’t say what sort of abilities the ego-castle even had. Either way, for now, the old man chose to go to bed as well so that he would get enough rest to take care of…

Eisen, Askr, the elemental spirit, and the combination of the Minotaur and Light Spirit were currently holding off another ego-mansion while the others were inside taking care of all the ego-items and trying to find and reach the soul-core that was floating somewhere inside of the mansion. It didn’t take long until Jyuuk messages the old man, telling him that everything was good to go inside of there, and so the old man just used his hammer to punch another large hole into the front of the mansion’s…

It didn’t take long until all of the groups properly met up inside of the town. It took some a bit longer to figure out the right tactics of taking down the ego-houses, but it seemed like they all had their own methods to an extent. And that was a good thing, really. Since each group was capable of taking down an ego-house on their own, they were all able to proceed forward at a much quicker pace while not focusing on hiding themselves too much. Not long after, they even reached the first ego-mansion,…

Eisen stood in front of all the Ego-Houses with his hammer in his hand. He figured out that against the ego-items, using tools rather than weapons was a rather useful solution. The others could still fight them like they normally would, but Eisen may have had a little bit of a benefit over them. Either way, Eisen increased his size and activated his Draconic Demon King transformation, now towering over most of the buildings that could be found in this town. The moment that one of the buildings swung its…
